Kenseiden (Sega Master System) (FM Audio)
Kenseiden is pretty fun with the feel of a shinobi game. Both the graphics and music are top for a Master System game. The jumping physics are pretty bad though and i could never get used to the inertia, always jumping into bosses. And the knockback is off the charts. Luckily, unlike with Ninja Gaiden on the NES, it rarely pulls you into a pit. The collision detection in the training stages is quite wonky too. Overall, it's an above average game for sure.
The stage numbers (and the romanization) are taken from the manual so they are a bit out of order.
