I've got some more Kerbal Space Program 1.0 Career Mode gameplay in this episode. We are continuing our mission to land on the Mun for the first time.

We start off in low Mun orbit, just a few km behind the pod where we rescued Newlorf. We see a nice place where we can land in one of the large craters, so we plan a burn for our landing.

We get over the crater, burn to stop our horizontal speed, and begin falling toward the surface. A few KM above the surface we burn to slow down, and the stage, dropping away our Mun transfer stage, and getting out lander ready to land. We extend our landing legs at this time. We come down, drifting slightly to the side, and we bounce once, but we land safely!

We gather all the science that we can, including an EVA report and a surface sample. We plant a flag and radio the crew report back, and this completes all our contracts except for returning Newlorf.

Since we have plenty of fuel, we decide to go to a nearby biome to get more science. We lift off, head north over the nearby crater rim, and land a bit smoother. We start collecting science, and find we are in the Highlands. We collect all the science we can here as well.

The episode was starting to get a bit long to attempt to fly back to Kerbin, so that will be in the next episode!
