Kerbal Space Program - Stock parts Rouqea return mission
34My first planet pack mission (Kcalbeloh System)! Landing a kerbal on Rouqea and returning to Kerbin, with stock parts only.
As far as I know this is the first time this has been done. Thermal tricks were used to aerobrake but no other exploits were used. DLC parts were used but they weren't necessary, they were mostly for style points with the robotic parts.
Two return vehicles were launched but I only showed the path from Kerbin to Maelg with one of them since it was basically the same for both. The return vehicles were both designed to handle an aerobrake at Rouqea, which was my original plan, but they were overbuilt enough that I decided to just lower the second one's orbit through ion burns instead.
