Kickstarter scam video game raised $114,000 and developer goes quiet!
The Stomping Land's lead artist has left the project after being unable to reach the main developer. The Stomping Land was advertised as a multiplayer dinosaur survival game and in June 2013, The Stomping Land Kickstarter project raised over $114,000 from 4,400 backers (having the initial goal of $20,000). A year later, a first build of the project was published on Steam Early Access. Lead developer Alex Fundora assured that "even though the game is available, development is still in full force." However, this was the final update on the game's Kickstarter page. Now, the game's lead artist has quit the project and reportedly hasn't been able to reach Fundora in weeks.
