Kid Icarus Uprising Boss Battles Easy No Powers/Drinks attempts with pseudo-V100 weapons
Successful runs:
0:19 - Burning Palm
42:25 - Needle Palm
1:16:12 - Cursed Palm
1:54:30 - (F)airy (F)lies Orbitars
2:30:15 - End-All Arm
Note that on all of these, I had either Heart Bonus+, Poison+, or Shaking+. Heart Bonus+ just provides extra currency that doesn't help here; and the latter two are ailments that can't be afflicted on any of the bosses, aside from Magnus in the Magnus and Gaol fight, with Poison outright sucking and Shaking being pointless against a MELEE enemy who doesn't have to aim. Any aid I had from modifiers is practically negligible at most.
It is funny how I was working with the Spin Shot technique for all 5 of these things, including End-All Arm despite my expectation of using the Neutral Rapid followed by an immediate followup Dash Rapid trick actively with that. I can provide my comments on each of the weapons:
*Burning Palm's SHINNING FINGER - overall fun to use when getting past the limited range mixed questionable shot velocity with the low max range damage multiplier, and getting rewarded for as much
*Needle Palm - part of me has to wonder why the tracing and homing ability are something I think should be needing Homing Boost on this thing to happen, because Needle Palm loses some of that precision demand factor by having this point happen. At least it was nice to melee Great Sacred Treasure on more attacks, even if the mobility is a significant factor in being able to do that.
*Cursed Palm - Burning Palm with even worse shot velocity as well as Shot Cancel problems that mixed with power issues just bug me, but the homing does make up for it so I can see why people would consider it solid in multiplayer.
*(F)airy (F)lies Orbitars - it's interesting how this thing is balanced even if I think the Confuse infliction could be worth looking at as far as multiplayer balance goes. This thing has range with the factor of dealing more damage done over distance, and the chargeup is the fastest of any weapon type other than Aurum Orbitars (in a tie) and Magnus Club, but Fairy Orbitars also has its Back Shot be its power-based attack while the Back Rapid has dispersion fire to keep the Melee Dash Attack an appealing option for DPS.
*End-All Arm - basically the Mighty Glacier of Arms. I do wish it had a little power to make up for the projectile velocity. Oh, and yeah, due to its high chargeup and Arms' fairly high Parry Chargeup provision, End-All Arm makes use of Parry Chargeup better than any other weapon type other than most Clubs and some Staves.
