Kid Icarus Uprising - using No Powers Skyscraper Club VS Transparency/Lightweight Claws
I thought I'd upload this to show how frame data isn't everything in KIU. A definite amount of frame data is directly linked to weapon families, and I can tell you that Clubs have easily the worst frame data while Claws have the best, and we do know the story of how Fragile Speedsters have a nasty habit of being dominant especially when they abuse unconditional flinching. Yet here I am deliberately not using Powers even though I'd very much appreciate the knockback immunity and I still come out on top. Against, by the way, somebody who also used the Lightweight + Transparency combo that is listed on vanilla TV Tropes as a Game Breaker, which does add more reason I want to upload this, just to deconstruct the state of that page while involving a comparison to this:

I'll be fair: jesse shows signs of being a budding player. He does at least understand to use range attacks for softening, likely explaining the mixed stars, and realize to not expose his position by attacking unnecessarily when using Transparency, which is of course bolstered by Lightweight usage. Packing Health Recovery on a weapon type that can avoid having its effect lost to getting clipped nearly as easily is also credit where credit is due. Really, most of jesse's tactical problems owe to not understanding opponent mentality's influence in gameplay.
Still, I do notice a couple of fatal flaws with jesse's gameplan. For starters, Speed- is a VERY bad negative mod, as I had outlined before. This is obviously the game's fault that a speed percentage loss the freaking Babel Club feels doesn't drop Value by much, and he's still using Lightweight--this testifies that Lightweight is disproportionately powerful that the net speed gain from Lightweight with Speed- is +50%. It's just that by all indications, jesse had Lightweight at Level 1 and therefore doesn't have it active too often, even if Level 1 is enough to have jesse do flanking.
The other big issue, and one I BARELY get, is having Black Hole on a Claw setup. Claws aren't going to be known for burst damage, which is what you'd want Black Hole for. Now sure the Melee Dash Attack can get DPS going, but the thing is, THIS is not only predictable and guarantees a parry, it's moving closer to an opponent who very well could want distance closure in the first place. He should have the space for Power Thief, why doesn't he at least involve that and guarantee grabs of Powers that can be used for annoyance factor? Claws don't even have much trouble closing distance on targets anwyay. This isn't even getting into potentially causing multiple opponents to cluster and having a defense against close range that way, or even how Black Hole's vacuum effect doesn't work against Armor power usage anyway. Okay, maybe that could work, to separate an armor guy's auxiliary support into an open area, but I don't think jesse really thought about that idea if he's vacuuming any opponent without paying attention to their weapon type.
Still, this nevertheless punctuates that Skyscraper Club achieves results that Ganondorf in Super Bash Sisters could only dream of. Ganondorf can barely siege edgecampers. Skyscraper Club freaking breaks combo-bolstered sieges and that's before stacking on Powers to laugh at combos, period.
