So, we finally get to close out the Portal Royal world with this last duel, one that is between Jack, Barbossa and Sora (I guess Donald and Goofy too but you can only have one of them) and this fight was much harder than I remember. Unfortunately for us, Jack is required to be in this fight so we can't have both Goofy (for our Drive Command) as well as Donald (for the healing) which makes things a little harder. Now, I do know that you can swap out characters during a fight but that is a lot of menuing during the middle of a boss fight which is why things went on longer than I thought. On top of that, I kept missing some really crucial reaction commands that actually stop Barbossa from doing a lot of damage. So, a combination of slow menuing skills and sloppy fighting skills, this fight took a few attempts to say the least. However, all that aside, one of the most frustrating parts about this boss fight is the heartless he has with him (given to by our dear old Friend, Pete) which blocks out all the lights in the room. The annoying thing is not the fact that I can barely see, but that Barbossa is invulnerable in the shade like every other pirate which makes fighting him a real pain. Not to mention there are little areas of shade within our little arena. I don't usually like doing this fight as you might imagine.
