The version tested was 1.02 for both the PS4 and PS4 Pro.
The PS3 footage was captured at 1080p with the maximum screen size selected. The PS4 Pro footage was captured at 1080p after starting the game in 4K. This was done to force downsampling to 1080p.
The stuttering on PS4 during the clip starting at 4:42 happened every time that the game was restarted and the cutscene was played. However, playing the cutscene again without restarting significantly reduced the stuttering. A re-installation didn't seem to reduce the stuttering. While no significant frame time spikes were encountered while opening chests, single dropped frames did occur while opening some chests.
Kingdom Hearts 2 on PS4 renders at a native resolution of 1920x1080. When outputting at 2160p, the PS4 Pro renders at a native resolution of 3840x2160. When outputting at 1080p, the PS4 Pro renders at a native resolution of 1920x1080.
Kingdom Hearts 2 on PS3 renders at different native resolutions based on the highest available system output resolution and selected screen size. For a maximum output resolution of 1280x720, the resolution varies between 1086x610 and 1280x720 for the minimum and maximum screen sizes respectively. For a maximum output resolution of 1920x1080, the resolution varies between 1630x916 and 1920x1080 for the minimum and maximum screen sizes respectively.
Some frames were removed during gameplay when the screen goes completely white. This is because it is impossible to tell whether or not frames were dropped in those scenarios.
