This is Run 2 to earn the Novice Player, Speedster, and Unchanging Armor trophies. This is NOT a speed run.

The party has just defeated Riku in Hollow Bastion's Entrance Hall, and they have unlocked the Library's upstairs exit to the Entrance Hall. Now, they head to the upper level of the Entrance Hall and seek out the four Emblem Pieces so they can unlock the door leading farther into the castle.

Once they have the Emblem Pieces, they put them into the door (time 2:17). When the door is opened, there is a scene with Riku, who makes a poor choice.

After the scene, we rejoin the party in the Entrance Hall (time 3:51). They exit north to the Lift Stop and head out to the Castle Gates.

When the enemies are down, they glide to the platform away from the gates. There, they pull down a chest on a floating platform with Gravity and collect Dalmatians 94, 95, and 96 (time 4:55).

On the high platforms to the right of the gates, they open one chest to collect a Haste2-G (time 5:25). They open another chest for an Orichalcum (time 5:35).

Then, they trip the switch that activates the lift that takes them up to the Great Crest (time 5:53).

At the Great Crest, they activate the next switch to board the lift that carries them across the side of the castle (time 6:07). There will be a fixed battle during this ride. During this battle, Sora reaches Level 38, and Donald reaches Level 36 (time 6:55). After the battle, they must trip the switch in the middle to resume the journey.

On the other side, the open a chest to get a Thundaga-G (time 7:40). They also stomp on a Blue Trinity mark to get a Megalixir and two Cottages.

Then, they head into the Lift Stop (time 8:03). There, they ride a lift up one level and exit to the upper level of the Grand Crest. Once outside, they open another chest to find an Orichalcum (time 8:26).

Then, they ride the next lift up to the High Tower area (time 8:34). After getting rid of some Heartless, Sora hits a switch to lower part of the block with the Heartless crest for a little later (time 10:24). Then, he drags down another chest on a floating platform with Gravity so he can get a Thundara Ring (time 10:32).

Next, the party enters the Lift Stop (time 10:42). After passing through, they exit to the other side of the High Tower (time 10:53).

After getting rid of some more Heartless, Sora drags down a chest to obtain an Osmose-G (time 12:24). Then, he trips a switch to lower the other part of the block with the Heartless crest (time 12:34).

After climbing the stairs, they go through the door to the Lift Stop (time 12:50). They go straight through and take the door to the Castle Chapel (time 13:01).

We cut to a scene between Maleficent and Riku in the castle's Grand Hall. She does not seem to take notice of his strange voice. Maleficent goes to deal with "the king's fools" personally.

Then, we resume control of the party in the Castle Chapel (time 14:38). A good time to use a Cottage if needed. As the party heads farther into the room, their hostess arrives (time 14:55).

After the scene, the party must do battle with Maleficent (time 15:33). She will wander around the room on her floating platform. Her most worrisome attack is her meteor spell. She summons Defenders, but that may be helpful because they drop Elixirs.

During the battle, Goofy reaches Level 40 and learns Second Wind (time 18:19).

At the battle's conclusion, Sora reaches Level 39 and learns Leaf Bracer (time 20:13). Donald jumps two levels to Level 38. Goofy reaches Level 41 and learns Second Chance.

After the battle, Maleficent retreats through a portal (time 20:27). Donald learns Cheer, and the party obtains Ansem's Report 5.

After provisioning themselves with a few items, the party follows Maleficent through her portal (time 22:49). After a scene, the party must battle Maleficent in her Dragon form (time 23:53). Tinker Bell is a valuable ally for this battle. Leaf Bracer is also a great ability to use. Donald and Goofy will probably be of only occasional assistance.

During the battle, Sora reaches Level 40 (time 26:07).

At the end of the battle, Sora reaches Level 41 (time 28:33). Donald jumps two levels to Level 40, learning Treasure Magnet at Level 39. Goofy jumps two levels to Level 43, learning MP Rage at Level 42 and MP Gift at Level 43.

Afterwards, it is the end of Maleficent (time 28:47). Or is it? Tune in for Kingdom Hearts II to see! Anyway, the party receives the Fireglow summon gem.

As the party returns to the Castle Chapel, a new door leading forward appears (time 30:05).

For the upcoming battle, Sora prepares with Ethers and an Elixir.
