This fight... If I were to make a list of ten hardest boss fights in games that I have played, this one would make it to the top. I had to grind exp until lvl 95(!) to stand a chance against Sephiroth. There are many better videos on YT, even "no hit" ones, so if you want to watch a pro, my video is not one of those :D I had serious problems with this part of the game because of two reasons: 1) parrying - I do not feel comfortable with parry in this game, it's animation/effect is slightly delayed so you need to practice a lot to get actually good at it (while I haven't been using it too much throughout the game) 2) item/magic management - there's one Sephirot's attack that either kills you with one hit or (if you have a special item) leaves you with 1 HP. You can interrupt the spell by hitting Sephiroth before he finishes the incantation, but you need to be really fast. Otherwise, you're left with 1 HP and have to heal yourself immediately, a split of a second later Sephiroth will deal a blow. I have no actual strategy here. Just memorize the attacks and the patterns, heal, evade, evade, evade :P Yet, I am glad to have beaten this guy!
