For all the information and all the "whys", please read the description of Part 01.

After grinding exp and beating Sephiroth, I must admit that the final boss of the game was just a walk in the park. A simple push-over, I just managed to rush and attack through all its stages without paying too much attention to any strategy. Then, I must admit the ending of the game left me kind of bedazzled, I did not actually caught the sense of it initially. I also unlocked the secret ending. You unlock the secret cutscene by meeting certain requirements (on the highest difficulty you probably only need to close all the keyholes; on lower difficulties you need to find all the dalmatians as well).
Final words: this the best PS2 game I have played so far, I really loved it, the concept, the music, the general combat. In my opinion, it has some serious flaws though: 1) magic/item management - navigating during tough fights is a real pain 2) some boss fights are a true clusterf... like Maleficent or Ursula (the cauldron phase) because retro controls (camera angles, camera movement, platforming) had their limitations while those fights went over the top.
All in all though, this is a wonderful game, probably one of the best for PS2. I am really glad I have it in my collection and beat it.
