https://www.patreon.com/ulillillia --- I've already cleared proud mode and was curious to see what beginner mode was like. I decided I'd rush through it and see how quick I can get level 100. With everything set up for the fastest leveling potential, I managed to get it in under 28 hours, though I feel I could get it in under 24 hours through beginner difficulty (maybe in 30 hours with standard). This spot here is the fastest way to level up that I can see. It does require cosmic arts on Sora so that magic becomes incredibly powerful. Lady luck (white trinity in a weird area of Wonderland accessible via the Bizarre Room has it) also helps a lot. Choosing, at the start of the game to gain magic further helps as that adds 2 to the potential max MP. Magic damage is tied to max MP so raising max MP helps the most though it seems that it needs to get to about 16 before it starts becoming usable for this method (note: unsure of the exact threshold). Thundara is especially useful. Thundaga requires the Hades cup which is long and difficult at lower levels making it not a worthwhile option.
The area in third district, right after the first round of events at Hollow Bastion becomes a very effective area. There are 7 total dark balls and 6 total defenders. Dark balls are 60 exp each and thundara with a high enough max MP can one-shot destroy them. However, they have to fully materialize first so wait for them to fully materialize then discharge thundara. It is best to discharge thundara while in the air, especially near the top of a jump. This way, the defenders can't hit you but you can still hit them. Do not use lock on when using thundara - without lock on, the target center is where the caster is which helps a lot. Otherwise, the target center is whatever enemy has the lock on. Defenders, worth 180 exp each, can only be best attacked from behind or using thunder-type area of effect spells.
There are 3 batches of monsters. The first has 4 dark balls and a single defender (420 exp). Jump over the defender and discharge thundara when over its center. The dark balls, by the time you get there, with a little bit of a delay, should be materialized enough to strike. The second batch has 3 dark balls and 2 defenders (540 exp). Wait for the dark balls to materialize, keeping a bit of distance, then jump toward the center and discharge thundara then. The third batch is a triplet of defenders (540 exp). Thundara being used in the center of their spawn point is best - 2 casts can finish them off. I do the one round only so can I can also pick up all those munny and MP recovery balls. Each round of this gets 1500 exp and about 970 munny (with all 3 characters having jackpot set). With the exp+90% setup that I have, it's basically 2850 total exp per round, and that doesn't include tech points (hit the fire balls from the defenders for big tech points). All this only takes about 40-45 seconds so it's effectively about 2000 exp per minute and 1300 munny per minute. Unlike the coliseum, you also get items and rewards from doing this such a big stock of elixirs. Of course, you also get a bunch of elixirs and extra defender shields for Goofy to use. You also get a huge amount of munny very quickly where it takes barely an hour to go from having 0 to maxing it where I just use it to get a bunch of orichalcums for getting defense ups though just being level 100 alone already pretty much maxes defense and strength due to soft caps - above something like 55 is useless as there is no difference in damage (it's apparently the same across all difficulty settings).
To get the monsters to spawn every time upon leaving and returning to the room, you need the "encounter plus" ability, which becomes available after synthesizing 15 different items (where you see "mix" showing up) - having 15 or 80 cottages be synthesized only counts as 1. Otherwise, you have to get 2 zones away (sometimes 3 zones) and return to respawn the monsters. This area does not have a special monster present - that's only in second district. To get cosmic arts, you need to have 21 items synthesized then gather the required items for it.
