In the grand finale of my King’s Quest II: Romancing the Stones playthrough, Graham’s journey takes a wild turn as he faces down a pack of werewolves (what is this, Gabriel Knight 2?) and concludes his dealings with the brooding Count Caldaur. With the Death Gem finally in hand, the end of his quest is in sight.

All that’s left is to return to the Door of Destiny, unlock its ancient seal using all three enchanted gemstones, and free Valanice — the woman he’s been dreaming of ever since glimpsing her in his magic mirror. What could possibly go wrong?
