I have done Level 1, and next is Level 2, Raisin Ruins EX, and this desert themed level has some more challenges in the Extra Mode. This even includes mid-bosses and the boss fight against Mr. Dooter, who has some new tricks in the EX version of the fight.

Raisin Ruins does have more challenges in EX Mode, this is because of less health and more types of enemies that appear. I won't explain too much about the stages, but I could go over the Mid-Bosses in EX Mode, first is Bonkers EX, he has more attacks, and he has more faster attacks than his non-EX variant. On the Kirby Wiki, which I use for information, I couldn't find anything about Bonkers's moves, or Bonkers EX in this game, the Fire Sphere Doomer EX has that charge attack where it pauses halfway and then repositions itself basedo on Kirby's position and then charge again.
There is King Doo EX in Stage 3, the new attack is Beam Blast, where he charges up and then fires beams downwards before landing, and when he does the Rush attack, King Doo can do it twice in a row. Stage 4 has Water Galboros EX, and this one can shoot more water out at once and has a bite attack while charging.
Then for the boss, which I will be explaining about in the description, and it is against Mr. Dooter EX, and he has a bunch of new moves, and his Magic Item can give either Fire or Bomb depending on what he juggles, and he can include Gordos on the second phase of the battle. His jump attack is much faster than in the Main Mode, and his Rocket Punch has a fire effect, and his new attack has him try to grab Kirby and juggle him around, this fight is much more harder than Mr. Dooter in the Main Mode, the bosses in the Extra Mode do take a step further in difficulty, which doesn't help when Kirby only has less health than usual.
