When you return to the Somniel, you unlock some new activities, Tempest Trials, which I will show in the next part, are at the Tower of Trials. There is Wyvern Training, which is run by Ivy, but sometimes you can find Vander, who will get Ivy for you. In Wyvern Training, you can shoot targets to score points, and when you have Sommie with you, it can fire at targets to help you out. The shops have restocked on items, like Master Seals, staves, and weapons, and at the time of recording this video, the fourth DLC wave has released, and it has added a new side story, much like Fire Emblem: Three Houses.
I can use the rest of the description to go over the new units, Ivy is a Wing Tamer, her Advance class is Lindwurm, which can use tomes and staves, and it has good Magic and Resistance growths. The class skill is Grasping Void, which has a chance of dealing more damage based on the foe's Magic stat, and the activation is based on the Dexterity stat, Ivy is one of the best magic users in the game, as she is a Flying unit.
Going over her retainers, Kagetsu is our first Advance class unit recruited, unless you count Vander back in Chapter 1, and he is an excellent unit, he comes as a Swordmaster, and Blinding Flash decreases a foe's Avoid by 10, and Run Through is the class skill, where unit moves two spaces forward after combat. Kagetsu can work in any weapon-based class, Paladin, Wyvern Knight, Warrior, Berserker, any of them if you want to use a Second Seal on him, and he benefits from Lyn's Emblem Ring, specially from skills like Speedtaker and Alacrity.
Zelkov is the second Thief recruited, and he comes at a good level, he has Not *Quite*, this decreases the hit rate of foes by 10. Compared to Yunaka, Zelkov has better growth rates in HP and Defense, while Yunaka has better growths in Speed and Resistances. The advantages to Yunaka is that if you have inherited skills like Perceptive and Knife Precision, Zelkov cannot get these skills at this point as he joins right as you lose your first six Emblem Rings.
Then for our Emblem Rings, I will start with Lyn, her Emblem Ring provides Dexterity, Speed, and Resistance. For skills, Call Doubles creates 1 extra double for Dragon units, and doubles have +10 Avoid for Flying units. Astra Storm deals 30% damage of up to range of 10, when used by Dragon units, the range is increased by 5, for Covert units, range is increased by 10, and Qi Adept units can break the target. For skills, Speedtaker which increases a unit's Speed by 2, and it can stack up to 10 if units initiates combat and defeats foe. Bow Focus increases hit rate but decreases dodge, and at Bond Level 10, Mani Katti is a sword that deals bonus damage to Cavalry and Armored units.
For Lucina's skills, Noble Rapier has the same effect as Marth's Rapier, and her Emblem Ring provides Dexterity, Speed, and Luck. Dual Strike has the unit take part in a chain attack even if they are not a Backup unit, Bonded Shield prevents first attack on adjacent allies, which is normally an 80% chance. Dragon units have a 90% chance, Cavalry units have a 100% chance for cavalry allies, Armored units have a 100% chance for armored allies, Flying unit have a 100% chance for flying allies, and Qi Adept have a 100% chance for any allies. All for One has adjacent allies perform the chain attack, Dragon units ensure the chain attacks will always hit, and Backup units have allies within 3 spaces take part in a chain attack. For other skills from Lucina, Dual Assist has unit take part in a chain attack if they are within the unit's movement and attack range, Bow Agility increases Avoid at the cost of crit when using a bow, and at Bond Level 10, Parthia is a bow that doubles the unit's earned experience and provides +5 Resistance.
