This battle went on for a while, and my opponent selects some of the more defensive Pokémon on the team, I did look at the team, and almost every Pokémon on the team are usually the defensive ones, like Dondozo, Garganacl, and a few others, and my opponent did have Wo-Chien on the team, and I did like the Tera Type that my opponent went with, because Wo-Chien is a Pokémon that usually has a different Tera Type to its main two types due to how many weaknesses the Pokémon has. I selected Florges for this battle due to how many Pokémon on the team she has an advantage against, I did see my opponent had a Florges of their own, this one was the Red Flower, while mine is the Blue Flower.
As with the Pokémon that I select for this battle, Lokix is a Pokémon that I have been waiting to use in an online battle for a while, and here is where he is put to the test. He has First Impression for a powerful priority Bug-type move, and this one does have Tinted Lens for the Ability, Lokix doesn't tend to use coverage moves all that much as Tinted Lens powers up moves that are not very effective on the target, making them act as a neutral hit instead. I went with Sucker Punch for priority, Throat Chop for a main attacking move, and U-turn if I need to get Lokix out of the field, I didn't change his Tera Type, as Bug Tera Type on Lokix has his moves hit for some huge damage.
I use Gengar in this battle, and this one has the usual moves you would see on one, Shadow Ball and Sludge Bomb for his main moves, Dazzling Gleam for type coverage, and Destiny Bond to take out an opponent that can defeat Gengar on that turn. I looked into best Tera Types, and for some reason, Normal seems to be the most common, it might be to remove the Ghost weakness on Gengar, and I have read that some sets use Encore, but then again this Pokémon does learn a wide variey of moves, and it is not easy to come up with moves to have on it. About when I went over in some of my Pokémon Sword & Shield online battle videos where I went over Pokémon that could use extra moveslots to fit in more moves, Gengar is one of those Pokémon that would really like to have more than four moves because of how many it can learn.
