KOF 2000 on a NEOGEO #13 - Benimaru!
A viewer requested a Single Play session with Benimaru in The King of Fighters 2000, so here we are!
I realized later that at this point I was still relying too much on Benimaru's special moves, rather than his regular punches and kicks. His special moves can be quite effective--and so sparky!--but I think this leads me to trouble, particularly against the boss, where I find that if the CPU is able to block my special moves consistently, I really struggle to find ways to do damage, having to get it all with single-hit pecks, instead of being able to string more damaging combinations together; hard to do combos when all you know are individual special moves! : P
So I gotta make more of an effort to set aside his eye-catching special moves a bit and learn his meat-and-potatoes moves!

Recording: "Omega" NEOGEO CMVS 240p YPbPr component to OSSC 4x 960p to Framemeister bordered 1080p to Elgato HD60
(My new, "fully shielded" Omega SCART cable arrived today, and I got a chance to test it out: it does indeed have a lot less pixel noise than the older, less shielded cable--supposedly the wires inside this new one are individually shielded, rather than being all stuck together with each other *inside* the shielding, like the old one does, as far as I've read--but still slightly more pixel noise than the Omega's component cable.)
