Recipe for 2 people:
Udon Noodles
Vegetables:
1 large shallot
1 or 2 cloves of garlic
150 g of string beans
2 pointed bell pepper
2 spring onions
Main ingredients:
1 package of Udon noodles (4 ‘bundles’)
1 egg
1 package of ‘ wokblokjes’ (wok cubes)
±20g ginger
Spices:
Black pepper
Nigella seed
Sesame seed
Sauces and oils:
8 tablespoons of Teriyaki sauce
High heat oil
Instructions:
Step 1: can be done in between the other steps.
Cut the vegetables. The vegetables should be cut long and thin.
Cook the udon noodles. After the noodles are done, cook the beans.
Step 2:
Heat up some oil in a wok/skillet, add the wokblokjes and take them out when they’re brown.
Heat up some more oil and make an omelet, cut it into strips and put aside.
Heat up even more oil and add the shallots. Add crushed garlic and ginger and bake for a few minutes. Add a bunch of black pepper, the amount of which depends on personal preference.
Step 3:
Add the noodles to the wok and stir fry on high heat until the noodles start to brown. Add the beans and bell peppers.
Add the egg strips and wokblokjes and stir.
Step 4: finishing touches
Add the sauce and seeds. Taste and add more sauce, pepper or salt if you want.
When you’re happy with the taste, sprinkle the spring onion on top and serve.
