With the shocking revelation by Elaine, the trio now try to find clues to fulfil Elaine’s wish. With Patricks research notes, they hurray back to Roger and seek his advice. He tells them that they need to find the ‘Arm of Daniel’ and to throw that into the resurrection cauldron used in the unholy ceremony. Hmmm.

Moving to the Church Vestry, they find more items (and a very powerful sword the LifeDrinker, if you levelled up Edwards sword abilities, this weapon is deadly, as it deals huge damage and heals the user too).

Coming to another shrine area, yet another boss encounter is here; the winged monstrosity. The Apostle.

This can be a tricky fight as this boss is immune to most magic and physical attacks. Also, the boss likes to cast paralysis a lot, so at least have some Pancea medicines available before taking on this battle. This can be an annoying and lengthy fight. But, there is a clue as to when damage can be inflicted upon it. If it is moving around erratically, then do not attack, as they will just miss. Just click on “Wait” to skip a turn. However, when is it stationary, is a good time to attack. Have Edward attack with the Life Drinker and Koudelka and James cast element magic. Also, casting “Reflect” magic on Edward is a good idea, as the boss’s attacks will just go back on The Apostle.

As usual, they defeat another boss and reactivate a save shrine. Returning to the main hall, the left gate has lowered and a door has appeared. However, the door is locked. But, James remembers that he saw some chemicals earlier on and can concoct some explosives to use on the door.

Suddenly, the monastery bells begin tolling again, signifying…
