Buy army sets such as aircraft carriers, tanks, submarines, etc. So far I am having hell of a lot of fun playing KryptoWar.
Potential is big as the developer is very active! Also lowest priced countries have been steadily increasing and broke out last 24h from 0.8 ETH to 7 ETH+.

I imagine prices will only increase considering the 100 country hard limit.
There will be provinces (as part of countries) the next couple of weeks so more people can join too. Consider that countries will be worth hell of a lot more when people can inhabit provinces as part of a country.
