The Orphic Manta combines twin vectored thrust, a massive TWR, huge control surfaces, rear facing air intakes, and reaction wheels for turning while air is stalled across the control surfaces.

This allows it to execute some very un-planelike acrobatic maneuvers. From a handling perspective it seems to slip between a vectored thrust rocket and a plane depending on air speed.

It's also a lot of fun!
