Kubuntu 18.04 vs KDE Neon 5.13 | KDE Desktops
773Let's take a look at Kubuntu 18.04 and KDE Neon 5.13 from a fresh install to installing applications!
I cover a bunch of topics on this video, each topic could arguably be it's own video. I do my best to keep the videos short (under 10 minutes) so I apologize if this one seemed hasty.
I'm of the opinion that the KDE is the most underrated and underused desktop environment available for Linux. Regretably, it does have issues with Nvidia which is a huge drawback.
If not for the bugs with Kwin & Nvidia drivers, I would say the KDE is the best desktop environment available for Linux!
Kubuntu and KDE Neon are fantastic distros. I can't really recommend one over the other because they are so similar. If I had to recommend one, I'd say this:
Kubuntu: If you want the latest Ubuntu core OS
KDE Neon: If you want the latest & greatest KDE software
