Sometimes I enjoy doing weird things with my computers and sometimes that even involves reinstalling Windows despite barely needing it anymore.

I used the Kernel-based Virtual Machine that's installed on my openSUSE gaming rig with a 500G EVO850 Samsung SSD which I've passed through.

Things work fine even if the machine isn't officially supported by Windows 11, thanks to Tiny 11 which I gave a try.

Sadly the video has audio issues during the segment where the KVM was prepared but you get the gist by simply watching the changes I made.

0:00 - 1:35 Introduction
1:35 - 2:49 Pulling the SSD from the ThinkPad and connecting it to my desktop
2:50 - 6:22 KVM Settings, adjustments and preparations
6:23 - 8:42 Copying Tiny 11 setup files to the SSD inside KVM
8:42 - 9:08 Putting the SSD back in the ThinkPad
9:09 - 14:18 Finishing Windows setup and first boot
14:19 - 15:10 First impressions and what I still plan to do
15:11 - 17:18 Applying Dark Theme through KVM and ending on the ThinkPad again
