This video is about the Realm of the Earth i.e. atmosphere, layers of atmosphere, composition of the atmosphere, importance of atmosphere, importance of oxygen, nitrogen, Carbon dioxide and other gases.
Atmosphere:- The envelope of air is called atmosphere. It is held with the Earth by the gravitational force. The atmosphere extends upto 1600 kilometre above the Earth surfface. The density of the Earth near the Earth surface is highest, as we go higher the density of air decreases rapidly. In fact 75% of atmospheric gases are within 11 kilometre around the Earth.

Layers of atmosphere:- From the surface of the Earth the layers called
1. Troposphere
2. Stratosphere
3. Mesosphere
4. Lonosphere
5. Thermosphere
6. Exosphere

Composition of atmosphere:- The atmosphere is composed of many gases such as nitrogen, oxygen, Carbon dioxide, Hydrogen, Ozone, Helium ,Argon etc. It also has dust particles and water vapour.
78%- nitrogen, 21 % oxygen, 0.03% Co2.
Importance of O2- It is important for respiration and burning.
Importance of Co2- The plants make their food by using CO2 and sunlight by the process called photosynthesis. It also keeps Earth warm.
Importance of Nitrogen- It dilutes O2 and prevents rapid burning. It plays an important role in converting dead biological material in different forms and fertilizers.
Importance of atmosphere-
1. It gives us gases to survive.
2. It prevents all the heat from the sun reaching the earth.
3. It helps maintaining lower temperature on the Earth.
4. It helps to bring rainfall because it helps in the movement of water vapour in the form of clouds from the oceans to the land.
5. the air in the atmosphere form currents due to uneven heating and motion of the Earth. This helps in moderating temperature on the Earth.
