In the lush caves, we manage to find the zombie villager that we thought we had lost! Amazing! We name the villager so that it does not despawn, and we trap her properly this time! We mine out a new staircase that goes up to the jungle above, and we bring the zombie villager closer to the surface so that we can cure it easily!

Mining a bit of stone, we head into a side tunnel! Suddenly, we hear the moans of the zombie villager again! We are very surprised and relieved! After trapping the villager properly, we light up the area and name the villager to stop it from despawning when we leave the area!

With two villagers, we will be able to start a prosperous trading empire! In the cavern, we see some unusual green particles and realise that they come from the spore blossom! We climb up to a dark cave that we see above us and we find more lush caves!

Lighting up the tunnels, we encounter some skeletons below a deposit of clay! We head into a cave that goes upwards, and we reach a dead end! We check our height on the F3 debug screen, but we are still far from the surface!

Thinking about how best to bring the zombie villager closer to the surface, we head to where we entered the caves from and swim out to the river! A drowned attacks us and we slay it! We climb up to the azalea tree and keep a few items in the chest to clear our inventory!

The villager definitely cannot leave the caves in the same way as us, as it would likely drown! We sleep for the night and return to the river. Slaying a few salmon and glow squid, we head back to the caves! We decide to start digging out a staircase!

Using the F3 debug screen, we constantly check our height as we ascend! We use our map to ensure that we will eventually emerge in the jungle! To ensure that we do not get too far away from the azalea tree, we make frequent 90-degree turns when tunnelling!

As we build the staircase, we collect any coal ore that we find! Since we are getting closer to the surface, coal becomes more and more abundant which is great! After digging through a dirt deposit, we replace the dirt on the steps with stone as it is more sturdy!

Finally, we see our first grass block! We emerge on the surface near our azalea tree. We complete the staircase and place down a torch! Heading back underground, we dig out the entire dirt deposit so that we have a space where we can safely leave the zombie villager!

Seeing that the sun is setting, we keep our blocks at the double chest beside the acacia tree and go to bed! We mend our iron shovel and place down more torches on the blocks where mobs can spawn! Underground, we pick up some dirt blocks and continue expanding the holding room!

Mining out some normal stone, we fill in some holes on the ceiling and the walls! We turn the last stone block into cobblestone. Then, we head down to the lush caves! We find our villager and free it so that we can lure it to the holding room!

Trapping the villager with cobblestone, we place down a torch for light! We head to the surface and mine some coal ore blocks with our Fortune III pickaxe! We take out some items from the double chest before making our way home by boat!

In the river, we slay any mobs that are close to the surface! We collect some raw salmon, which has become our primary food source! We pick up some floating ink sacs as well! Reaching the cave beneath our house, we pick up our boat and climb up the stony slopes!

Outside of our house, we place the pink axolotl in the fishing pond! Hopefully, it does not climb onto the campfire and take damage! We keep our items in the chests of our basement and take out a splash potion of weakness! The sky turns orange as the sun sets, and we sleep for the night!

The next day, we decide to move our ore blocks to the basement! We store them in the same chest as the cobbled deepslate. With a piece of bone meal, we grow some seagrass in the fishing pond for the axolotl! Then, we head down to the river!

Rowing back to the jungle, we collect more fresh salmon! We take out the golden apple that we had found in a zombie dungeon before ending the episode! The next time we play, we plan to cure the villager and bring it back to the savannah to breed with our first villager!
