Been a couple of year since Seaphine come out and finally trying her in an actual game. Her launch was a bit of a mess (parasocialism, messed up lore, made no sense, KDA first, Sona replacement) so avoided her for a long time. She did make an appearance in the card game (RIP legends of runeterra) which made her a lot more likeable and made her fit into the world much better.
After being fed up playing ADC's this patch, I heard Seraphine was doing well in that role and so thought I'd give it a shot. Erin and I have had fun playing Sona/Lux in the botlane and these two character's synergize much better together.
While lacking the damage of my carries like Nilah and Kai'sa, the team shields and huge amount of crowd control cover that weakness many times over. Seraphine got nerfed the next patch, so will be interesting to see how viable she is in the marksmen role
