In this video, Mahalo expert Gene Shaw explains the options available in the Color panel.
Color Panel
---------------------------------------------------------------------
The Color panel allows you to literally create tens of millions of different colors for your work. You can fine-tune colors in this simple slider-based panel. You can also choose several basic color modes as a foundation, and you can tweak the active color quickly and easily while you work.
There are two main ways to control the active color.
1. You can adjust the sliders left or right.
2. You can use the spectrum at the bottom.
To see more spectrums, click on the Panels menu in the top right corner and select the different spectrum you would like to use. You are given choices between RGB, CMYK, Grayscale, Lab or your Current Colors.
Also, there is an option called Make Ramp Web Safe. This option will only include colors in your spectrum that are for web use only. If this is unchecked, there will be a more even gradient between the colors on the spectrum ramp.
