In this video, Mahalo expert Gene Shaw explains how the Clone Source panel can be used with the Clone Stamp tool to reproduce parts of an image.

Learn Adobe Photoshop - Clone Source Panel
---------------------------------------------------------------------

The Clone Source panel works in conjunction with the Clone Stamp tool. Together they allow you to combine different images or duplicate sections within a single image.

The Clone Source panel relies heavily on the Clone Stamp tool.
1. First, make sure the Clone Stamp tool is selected, then hold down Alt (Option on Mac) and click to select an area from your image that you want to clone.2. Not only do you have the ability to do this with five different clone sources, but you can also clone between images. So, this means you can take what you've cloned from your first image and reproduce it in your second image. This ability applies to all five different clone sources.
