Short video showing the LED strip I attached to the back of my monitor. I cut the strip into several pieces and soldered extension wires so it would fit the contours of the monitor back. The strips go up one side, across the back and down the other side. The camera records the light a bit more bright than it appears in person.

I love the way the ship displays, my nixie clock, the desk, the LED lights and even my wall color are all shades of orange. Everything fits together perfectly to enhance the experience of playing the game with the room lights off.

My keyboard has blue LEDs and my joystick has green. I might have to see if I can change those as well.
