1Dark Wood is a full Left4Dead 2 custom campaign featuring 5 finely detailed maps. This is the 1st stage of the campaign, where the survivors start their journey in the midst of the woods in the middle of the night.
Finding your way through the campaign's long and daunting stages isn't always obvious, as the name speaks for itself, it's dark, and you're in the woods! Many paths are marked with arrows to help guide you through, but they aren't always obvious.
The first stage takes you from the woods, down a hillside, and into winding caves, then ultimately to the entrance of an underground prison, and this is where the game turns from a more linear adventure, into an all out confusing maze in stage 2.
Monster hordes of zombies in this campaign! We hit a tank not long into the maps journey, where he knocked us over a rock. Playing this campaign on normal you'll be met with plenty of weapons, health packs, etc.
