Lenus is easily one of the fastest bosses in the game and if your party isn't built for speed she can attack as many as 5 times in a row. If you're using Albert and/or Kongol this is very bad news since they have the worst Magic Defense out of all your characters and she has very strong magic. If you use either make sure you equip them with whatever Bandit equipment you have. This will boost their speed substantially and help them keep up. I've beaten her easily with a party of Dart, Albert and Kongol, so it is possible. You'll just need to have a little luck on your side.

No matter which party you use, you'll probably want to stick to physical attacks. Her physical defense is pretty low and stronger characters can really deal some pretty good damage. Using your Dragoon Special here can be very dangerous if none of your characters know any healing spells since you can't use items in Dragoon form. If you do use it, make sure Dart activates it. As always, if you use Albert, Rose Storm will be your best friend. There are really plenty of different ways to beat her so just experiment until you find something that works. I personally consider this one of the toughest boss fights in the game, so if you can beat her without too much trouble you're in pretty good shape for the rest of disc 2.
