PREVIOUSLY:
Noa uses the Nemesis Gem to unblock the gate of Absolute Fortress. As they traverse deeper into the stronghold, they are shocked to see a lake of Mist housing a Juggernaut. Luckily for them, the beastly Seru is in a hibernating state.

Further into the fortress is a control room. Vahn switches a lever to allow them access onto the deeper parts of the structure, but Jette suddenly appears, putting them at a halt. The apostle of the Mist, with his Sim-Seru that exceeds the abilities of a Rogue, transforms into an ominous figure and engages the heroes in a battle. Though Jette's abilities were vastly enhanced with the help of his Sim-Seru, Vahn and his friends were able to take him down.
