I DID NOT use the NES classic edition's save state feature. (Except for gambling during the Money Making Game. Though at times during all the 3 parts of my LOZ playthrough, I tried not too.) I made a video showing the original Legend of Zelda instruction booklet. The story of the game is in the booklet & it shows you hints & the game's items. (Timestamps ➡️) At 0:00:00 I show my greeting via the original Metroid password system. Didn't have alot of space. Afterwards, I quickly exited & switched to Zelda 1. At 0:00:21, I select the original Zelda from the NES classic edition menu. At 0:00:22 is the title screen & demo. At 0:01:45, I start my game. At 0:01:55, the old man tells me "It's dangerous to go alone" and let's me have the level 1 sword which is a wooden sword, but can fire sword beams at full health. At 0:05:40, I show you where the shop that sells food & the blue ring is. The blue ring reduces damage by half & turns Link's tunic a light or whitish blue color. It costs 250 rupees. At 0:09:30, I get the prescription or "letter" from the old man. The letter allows Link to purchase potions from an old lady in a cave. At 0:10:03, I gamble for rupees. I also swindle the money making man by using the NES classic edition's save state feature. *laughing evilly*😈😈 The only time I use the console's save state feature. Before when I played the originaI LOZ on the Gameboy Advance or on the Legend of Zelda Collector's edition on the Gamecube, I had to spend ALOT of time farming rupees to get the blue ring early. I DO NOT use the save state feature for the dungeons or the overworld. Just for gambling. At 0:19:38, I show the prescription to the old woman. At 0:23:47, I go buy the blue ring. At 0:25:45, I head down into the level 1 dungeon to clear it out & to get the first Triforce shard. Got the first Triforce shard at 0:31:33. At 0:44:20, I used the blue candle to uncover a secret cave where an old man will let you have either the red potion or the heart container. ALWAYS take the heart container as you can always buy a potion from the old lady. The old dude with the potion & heart WILL NOT let you have both & after you grab one of them, he will vanish & never return! There are other hidden caves where old men have either a potion or a heart container. ALWAYS go for the heart! At 0:55:55, I uncovered the secret entrance to the level 8 dungeon. It's too early for me to clear out that dungeon as enemies are incredibly strong in there! I left at 0:56:04. At 1:01:35, I clear out the level 2 dungeon. I got the second Triforce shard at 1:05:14. At 1:10:44, I used the Metroid password system to say "Thanks for tuning in. Please rate, comment, & subscribe. Tekman_1992 out. Have a good one."
