153Eeeny Meeny Miney Mo... Which villain should we do next for Villains Month?
Many of you have been requesting characters from THE WALKING DEAD for months! Initially I had no interest in drawing TWD characters because of two reasons: 1) I thought the material was too graphic and characters too violent for a family-friendly drawing channel; and 2) I didn't think plain-clothed characters translated well as tutorials because they weren't distinct enough.
Well, I've had a change of heart. For one, I've been drawing ultra-violent characters like Freddy Krueger, Deadpool, and Sub-Zero already anyway. And two, there's enough distinction in the TWD characters' outfits that you can easily tell who they are, even out of context.
Case in point, NEGAN! As it is still Villains Month and I'm still focusing on the bad guys, NEGAN (and LUCILLE) are now my first ever THE WALKING DEAD tutorials on this channel. It's also no coincidence that season 8 will be premiering this coming Sunday, October 22nd!

CHARACTER ORIGIN:
Before the zombie outbreak, Negan was a high school coach. He loved his wife Lucille very much, despite having an affair with another woman. When his wife got cancer, he broke off his affair, much to the chagrin of his wife, who asked him why he had choosen the sick one. Apparently, she cared so much for him, she's rather see him happy with the other woman than being sad at her side. Staying at her side in the hospital, the zombie virus broke out. The hospital nurses demanded he'd leave, because it wasn't save there anymore, but Negan refused to leave his wife. However, he soon discovered she had died. Watching zombies through the hospital window, his wife Lucille had turned behind Negan's back into a zombie.
