I still don't know what to do about the Hyphy Movement, the San Francisco Bay Area residents who prove that it doesn't deserve to be called the "Yay Area", the shallow girls who would say "wanna suck my pee" just to mock me, and the Oakland rioters. But remember that surprise I mentioned in the outro of my Battalion Wars LP? Well, this is the surprise. I am going through Super Mario 64 with the camera set to close up as frequently as possible. And I have to thank MarioMastar for his LP inspiring me to get this off the ground. He knows quite a bit about the game--both the N64 version and the DS version. So consider checking his LP out. As for the challenge itself? I actually did this when I was young and the game was less than 3 years old. So far, it's not proving easy, but so it goes. (And I'd do the courses in order if not for worries about creating filler time spent on gathering 1-Ups.)

I go upstairs to go to newly available course, the first of which I want to deal with right away being Tall Tall Mountain. I am not concerned about Snowman's Land or Wet Dry World, since neither of them have bottomless pits. (Snowman's Land does have an equivalent to lava, but it should be MUCH more survivable.) Anyway, Tall Tall Mountain is just that: a mountain. There are some secrets to worry about. Let's hope none of them reach Wall Banger territory. Of course, TTM does require you to scale it TWICE, along the way I have to deal with iron balls that ask what Mercy Invincibility is, as well as a scary gap that requires a long jump. The second time I have to scale it is because you will find and have to catch Ukiki, a dang dirty monkey who can be annoyingly evasive...until a sneak attack works its magic, what the? And I was only doing it to read-trap Ukiki rather than suffer from traction problems, not do a direct catch.

*sigh* Meanwhile, I haven't much problem getting the Red Coins. Even though 4 of them hang over platforms above the abyss.
