This video is a week early for a Christmas present, but here we go. This is basically Kirby's (Epic) Return to Dream Land's Meta Knight fight on a no damage run, which as you'd expect is a self-explanatory staring contest. I don't do it no abilities because ammo fodder is frequent enough, which combined with Sword's generally awful damage input means that killing Galacta Knight without abilities is (almost) actually safer for being just as fast, because it means you can just focus on dodging when your DPS is so high.

Oh, and I'm using key words because I'm referring to Sword being able to cheese GK with Spin Strike. I don't do that in the video, obviously. Some annoying Fake Balance is involved with Sword, namely that the damage input is overfocused on Spin Strike.

Luckily, the Galacta Knight fight is well designed. He isn't excessively vulnerable to one particular tactic (unlike in Super Star Ultra, believe it or not), K(E)RtDL has good controls such as working hopping controls that the fight balances around, and he actually weaponizes the AI quirk that he and Meta Knight have where he stays a certain distance away from Kirby. Said quirk, by the way, is completely proven to be intentional by Galacta Knight having jumping back animation, though the quirk itself is actually subtle at working here because of Galacta Knight frequently using commital walks.

The only reason this hasn't become my favorite Meta/Galacta Knight fight is because you have to wade through True Arena to have a shot at it (unless you use emulation to hack or savestate, good luck with that), and of course, if you want to use Sword, you have to know that it isn't good against aerial bosses, although it tears apart grounded bosses like you wouldn't believe. Even then, it still manages a close second, because it is still deeper than the favorite, which is much more sane to reach or use emulation to simply start at.
