0Our adventures in Moonrise Towers go more or less without incident, from wanton looting to sticking our hands into suspicious tentacle holes. Down in the prison is another story: some of the tiefling refugees, among others, ended up here, and we get it in our heads to bust them out. Doing this unnoticed is tricky, given the patrolling guards and sentry eyes, so we end up doing things a bit... less unnoticed. Thus begins a string of nat 1 rolls that dog us throughout the evening.
Amidst this chaos we do glean a few key pieces of information. First: the Absolute is definitely here, somewhere within or perhaps beneath the towers. Second, and most puzzling: it is not here willingly.
