Since Torii gates can purge the mist, we head for the biggest one nearby: Shiroyama Shrine. This is something of a multi-stage process, requiring a good amount of legwork as we fight salarymen and schoolgirls, and do favors for friendly youkai around the park. Our efforts are not without gain, however: apart from clearing the mist, we get a powerful new spell for the trouble. For lack of any other leads, KK suggests finding a vantage point to check on all of Shibuya at once; the Kagerie observation deck will apparently suffice.

Other sidequests are dealt with along the way, from a possessed umbrella to a misunderstanding around a cursed doll. The most worrying, however, involves a tanuki and his missing friends. True to form, they can disguise themselves as almost anything, and finding them all looks to get very 'needle in a haystack'. We will likely resolve a lot of the purely collectable stuff off-camera.
