In this video, I show you how to craft weapons/armor with 2 Lv.8 Slots attached in them.

------------- Double Lv.8 Refine Tutorial -------------

! Getting Started - First off, we want to ready 3 individual weapons/armor with the appropriate Lv.8 slots in them. We want to have 2 Slots with the desired abilities and 1 Meteoric Slot. You must first know that all slots fall into 3 different types. Common Type (these slots can be found in both weapons and armor), Weapon Type (these slots can be found in weapons only) and Armor Type (these slots can be found in armor only).

Also when it comes to getting common slots from the golden seed lady at Cherik, if you're trying to get a slot that's in weapon, armor or headgear from her, again make sure you save before giving the seed, give it to her then check if she gave you the slot within the type of equipment you're aiming for. If not, reload your save file and try again. This only works for common slots and armor only slots and not for weapon only slots for obvious reasons.

Ex- Weapon 1 - スリヴァー Silver 8 (Increases Accuracy) {Common Type}
Weapon 2 - ステイシス Stasis 8 (Inflicts Freeze Debuff) {Weapon Type}
Weapon 3 - メテオリック Meteoric 8 (low chance of paired Slot Lv Up) {Common Type}

Now that your slots/equips ready it's time to hit the refine menu.

! Refining - Combine the Meteoric weapon/armor with the Lv.8 Slot that's Common Type (in this case, combine the Meteoric Sword, with the Silver Sword). Why? The Meteoric's effects will only work for Common Type slots only (dont ask why, and dont care).

When you combine them, you'll have two results, Result A and Result B. In order for the trick to work, you want to go with the result that retains the Meteoric's Lv.8 property.

Ex - Resulted Weapon - メテオリック Meteoric 8 + プリシジョン Precession 7

! The Meteoric Trick - Now with your newly crafted weapon, you want to level up your Lv.7 Precession slot back up to it's Lv.8 Silver counterpart. How do you do that? Equip your new weapon and engage into random battles until a message pops up saying something about Slot Lv Up at the bottom of the Victory screen.

Warning - This might take forever. To increase your chances, make sure your character is at low levels (let's say around Lv.80-100) and fight battles in the final dungeon or Aqua Labyrinth. Fighting enemies that are higher leveled than you, increases the chances of the Meteoric slot to work it's magic. It also helps if you net tons of exp after battle (fighting bosses, equipping Demon's Seal, etc). To get higher leveled enemies, try tuning up the difficulty level (such as Mania or Unknown).

! Final Stage - After getting your Lv.7 Slot back up to Lv.8, it's time to ditch the Meteoric slot. Go to the refine menu, choose the weapon you were working on and then choose the other weapon which had your other desired Lv.8 Slot

Ex - {Item A - メテオリックソード Meteoric Sword = メテオリック Meteoric 8 + スリヴァー Silver 8}{Item B - ステイシスソード Stasis Sword = ステイシス Stasis 8}

Choose the result that replaces the Meteoric with the Stasis slot. You'll now see that this result still retains Silver's Lv.8 property!.

and Congratulations! You know have a weapon with 2 Lv.8 Slots in them!

! Final Notes - When inheriting slots on your next playthrough, your weapons/armor stats will decrease to your character's default weapons/armor's starting equipment but will still retain their Lv.8:8 slots! (we're speaking if you managed to do this trick with your character's weapon, body and head gear btw).

In this case, dont fret, thanks to the big bonus of having Lv.8 slots, those supposedly crappy defaults will be much useful/powerful than any other set of weapons and armor you'll come across in your main playthrough. You just have to wait until you're at the last arc or the game to get other Lv.8 slots from seed raising and transfer those slots into the defaults to get them back up into their Grim properties again.

.....oh yeah btw Lv.8 slots gotten by seed raising/enemy drops are attached to Grim equipment (they're the strongest base equipment in the game).
