Enigma looks scary to a new player, but the very reasons why he looks scary are the reasons why he's a good hero to learn. Enigma has perhaps the easiest time in the jungle of any hero, making him a very good introduction to learning the workings of the jungle and how to farm it. Enigma also has units he can micro, which can be scary, but the fact that they are powerful little ranged guys with a short duration makes them a very easy introduction to controlling units besides your main hero. Enigma is probably most notable for his big ulti, black hole, which can turn a teamfight around in an instant.
