Let’s Play Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth - Episode 48: Guys Like Alba don’t Die in...
Embassies. The title of this episode was supposed to be "Guys Like Alba don't Die in Embassies", but once again, the character limit has screwed me over. Anyways, back to the original description.
They die in prison because their diplomatic immunity has just been revoked by Lang. That’s right, if Lang wants to, he can remove a government official like it’s nothing- even going so far as to reference the “It’s just been revoked” line from “Lethal Weapon 2”. I guess that’s what happens when your family establishes a reputation over the centuries of arresting everyone you deem suspicious. Heck, I wouldn’t be surprised if Lang Zi was like a mob boss of sorts and would only release the innocent government officials he arrested for “suspicious charges” if their countries vowed to return the favor of Kindness to the House of Lang. Perhaps that’s why King Primidux went to war in the first place- some of Lang’s ancestors started a battle with Cohdopia because they hastily came to the conclusion that Primidux littered by dropping a crumpled up piece of paper written in Cohdopia in the middle of one of their streets.
