Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition - Lords of the West is an expansion for Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition. It was developed by Forgotten Empires, published by Xbox Game Studios, and released on January 26, 2021.

It is the first expansion exclusively for Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition, and is neither available for Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings or for Age of Empires II HD.

Lords of the West adds two new civilisations: the Burgundians and the Sicilians. The Burgundians have access to the Coustillier, a cavalry unit with a charge attack, as well as Flemish Militia, infantry armed with a goedendag.

The Sicilians can train Serjeants. The Serjeant is an infantry unit that can construct the Donjon, a defensive structure halfway between a Tower and a Castle.

The expansion also adds three new campaigns, in which the player takes the role of Edward Longshanks, the Dukes of Burgundy, or Sicily under the Hauteville family.
