Now that we've completed the tutorial it's time to do a match against three AI opponents, so that you can see what a typical match of Armello looks like. I intend to play one match as each of the game's eight heroes over this let's play and for this first match I shall use the one I consider to my favourite, Barnaby.

Barnaby starts with a pretty good spread of stats except for his spirit which starts at 2. While the low spirit score stops him from using many spells at the beginning he's quite capable of taking care of perils at the beginning and is a pretty decent fighter. What makes him useful is his unique ability which allows him to swap out items he can equip for free, eliminating the cost of re-equipping them. It allows you to accumulate a selection of weapons and armour that allow you to best answer any situations that come your way. About to attack? Time to equip a heavy flail. Think you're going to be attacked when you're weak? Put on those suits of armour and use your oak spear to decimate your foe.

Barnaby's ability is only as good as the equipment you get of course but all in all I think his stats combined with the clan rabbit rings (the first of which I personally like the most) makes him my favourite hero to play as.
