I have never actually played a dating sim before, so this is going to be an interesting experience for me. I know that there are typically two kinds of dating sims: one that is completely decision based where you go down various paths and (possibly) end up dating a particular character by the end of it, and another where you can date any number of characters all at once where the main gameplay comes from managing time, money, and items to gain the affection of your prospects. This game falls squarely in the former.

We have finally met Satchel! And he has major Teddy Bear Syndrome. For those unaware, that is when a person just inspires the absolute need to snuggle/cuddle with them. They are warm people who seem to naturally make you feel warm to. AND THESE PEOPLE ARE DELIGHTFUL. We also meet Jon, but he comes off as a bit more friendly rather than compassionate. This is a weird distinction to make, and I think it 100% comes down to how Hana reacts to each character. She was clearly interested in Satch, but Jon (and more specifically Jacques) has her a bit more weirded out. She was just trying to get to class, and Jon was able to show her how to get there - simple as that. When we were in the library with Satch, he showed us how to get our book, but then went above and beyond to help us find a book to make us get through the arduous weeks of being "the new kid". Classic Teddy Bear.
