The Colossus Project is the priority A for Terran Federation. It's target is fuel and financial stability in both present and future. The key priorities and sub-projects are:
a) Construction of additional (large) number of fuel refineries to boost the output of fuel production
b) finishing the research of Sorium Harvester technology and making blueprints for a Harvester class ship that would be capable of providing the Terran Federation with further fuel
c) start utilizing the shipping lines more - this will cut into income but save fuel for strategic (Kleeto and Ferguson colonization) and military operations
+ optional: researching newer, more efficient engines and putting them on the Class I and Class II freighters
+ optional: building the Harvester type ship
e) cutting the acquisition of minerals from private companies and taxing their production in return
f) building more financial centers to optimize the flow of finances within the Federation

Some say it has the graphical charm of an income tax assistant software from the late nineties, but a playing depth that more than rivals any commercial 4X game. Aurora is different because it places emphasis on fleet operations and detailed tactical combat.
