The Lifesaver project is the priority B project for us. It's goal is to make it possible for humans to further expand on the populated worlds we have now and in the future expand on others. In another words it's goal is the increase of infrastructure production and focus on new terraforming possibilities. Subgoals are:
a) Immediate increase of infrastructure production
b) giving more priority to shipping lines which can then in turn field more ships which will via trade increase the movement of commercial infrastructure
c) further research into terraforming (both planetary and orbital)
+ optional: research into the possibility of reducing the cost of supporting a colony on a hostile world
+ optional: after analysis is carried out the production of orbital terraforming ships that would speed up the terraforming project
+ optional: production of more terraforming facilities

From the wiki: Aurora is a 4X (eXpand, eXplore, eXploit, and eXterminate) science fiction strategy game. Players develop their interstellar empire from the humble beginnings on their homeworld to conquer the universe, or be pummeled into the ashes of history by opposing races.
Some say it has the graphical charm of an income tax assistant software from the late nineties, but a playing depth that more than rivals any commercial 4X game. Aurora is different because it places emphasis on fleet operations and detailed tactical combat.
The game is under constant development and there is an active and friendly player community in the forum that will help you with any question or problem you might encounter.
