On the first episode of Let's Play AVP2: Primal Hunt, we return to LV-1201 more than a month before "The Incident" that Aliens versus Predator 2 focuses on. As Major Dunya of the Iron Bears, we're tasked with heading to Zeta Site to steal an alien artifact after the Weyland-Yutani research team was wiped out by the nearby Xenomorph hive. While we're initially sent in with a pair of Iron Bears, it isn't long before Dunya is left alone within the underground site. After fighting through numerous ambushes within the tunnels, we enter the chamber containing the Engineer ruins and the Artifact itself. The Xenomorphs seem unwilling to enter the chamber, so we take our time to shut down the Artifact's stasis field. However, shutting off the field causes collapses our exit, and so we need to take a detour through some Predator ruins attached to the Artifact chamber. Eventually, we emerge on the surface, where we'll need to hike across a few kilometers of hostile territory to meet up with an APC.
