In Banished you take charge of a group of people who have been banished form their homes and thus have to find a new home, your job is to govern these people and make sure that they build the right buildings and do the right things, a single wrong step can be fatal.

It is your job to make sure that your village has enough homes, food, tools, clothing and resources to take on nature, use hunters, gatherers, farmers and fishermen to get food, tailors for clothes, blacksmith for tools and even tradeposts to get the things you are lacking, from seeds for farming to livestock.

You are completely in charge of everything, and as such it is your duty to transform what in the beginning will be a small village into a sprawling city, will be interesting to see how I will do. :)

Got adviced to try this after my Game Dev Tycoon let's play and I have to say that I like the game, although I am a little bit worried it might get boring in the long run, we'll see.
