War Katana is faster than a speeding bullet. Even when thrown!
Below is what the Stranger/Rucks will say if you equip certain combinations of weapons.

THE LIST OF WEAPON COMBO COMMENTS:
WARNING: contains spoilers about future weapons.

CAEL HAMMER:
Fang Repeater : A repeater goes with a hammer better than a box of nails.
Breaker's Bow : Ain't much Kid can't handle with Hammer and Bow in hand.
War Machete : Kid's ready to slice them up and to pound them to bits if they get in his way.
Scrap Musket : Kid's about to get real personal with hammer and musket in hand.
Dueling Pistols : A pair of Slinger's pistols is just the ticket if the hammer's too slow.
Brusher's Pike : Can't decide between a hammer and a Brusher's pike? Take both.
Army Carbine : A hammer and an Army Carbine. When I was a fighting man, I used the very same.
Fire Bellows : Got a feeling those tools ain't only for the old forge.
Galleon Mortar : With that mortar and a hammer, he's like a one-man demolition squad.
Calamity Cannon : The power of the Calamity ain't well understood, but a hammer sure is.

FANG REPEATER:
Cael Hammer : A repeater goes with a hammer better than a box of nails.
Breaker's Bow : With the repeater and the bow at the ready, Kid aims to keep a safe distance.
War Machete : The repeater and machete, favourite choices of the Ura trappers we once fought.
Scrap Musket : Doesn't hurt having a couple of trusty old guns on hand.
Dueling Pistols : Kid must think he's the fastest shot in all the lands. He probably is.
Brusher's Pike : With pike and repeater in hand, he's like a man come straight from the wilds.
Army Carbine : Figure it's a good time to put his two favourite firearms to the test.
Fire Bellows : Now he can light them up or pin them down. Maybe both.
Galleon Mortar : Kid's ready to hit them fast and hit them hard.
Calamity Cannon : Fill them with needles or blast them to bits ? Tough call.

BREAKER'S BOW:
Cael Hammer : Ain't much Kid can't handle with Hammer and Bow in hand.
Fang Repeater : With the repeater and the bow at the ready, Kid aims to keep a safe distance.
War Machete : A bow and a machete, every bit as effective as the fancier stuff.
Scrap Musket : A bow ain't much good in a crowd, but a musket sure is.
Dueling Pistols : Even our lightest ranged weapons are not to be taken lightly.
Brusher's Pike : Kid don't always care for fancy guns and things. A bow and pike will do just fine.
Army Carbine : Best not let them get too close if you only got a bow and a carbine.
Fire Bellows : Bow and bellows make a strange and fearsome team.
Galleon Mortar : Sometimes arrows ain't enough, so Kid packs something bigger, just in case.
Calamity Cannon : We've fought with bows for centuries. Calamity Cannons, not so much.

WAR MACHETE:
Cael Hammer : Kid's ready to slice them up and to pound them to bits if they get in his way.
Breaker's Bow : A bow and a machete, every bit as effective as the fancier stuff.
Fang Repeater : The repeater and machete, favourite choices of the Ura trappers we once fought.
Scrap Musket : Anything survives a musket shot oughta be quick work for that blade.
Dueling Pistols : Want to stay alive in the Wilds, pack a pair of pistols and a good blade.
Brusher's Pike : Normally I wouldn't care to see a Kid with a pike and machete in either hand.
Army Carbine : Machete and carbine still go well together just like in the War.
Fire Bellows : We could have a fine old cookout with that stuff. Too bad that's not the plan.
Galleon Mortar : Walk by a Kid with a machete and a mortar, you just keep on walking.
Calamity Cannon : If there's anything a blade can't split open, a cannon ought to do it.

SCRAP MUSKET:
Cael Hammer : Kid's about to get real personal with hammer and musket in hand.
Fang Repeater : Doesn't hurt having a couple of trusty old guns on hand.
Breaker's Bow : A bow ain't much good in a crowd, but a musket sure is.
War Machete : Anything survives a musket shot oughta be quick work for that blade.
Dueling Pistols : Nothing subtle about those guns, but maybe that's the point.
Brusher's Pike : Want to keep the wilds at bay, pack yourself a musket and a pike.
Army Carbine : No more fooling around, time to roll out the big guns and get this over with.
Fire Bellows : Ever see a Kid with a musket and a fire bellows? Bit of a disturbing sight.
Galleon Mortar : That's some heavy duty hardware. Not exactly the most delicate pairing.
Calamity Cannon : The Kid's loaded down with some of Caelondia's finest firearms.
