Let's play Battlefield 4 open beta @ 2:30am on a work night, seems like a smart idea!
226Today I pre-ordered Battlefield 4 on Electronic Arts Origin for the cheap price over ~$70 USD so I could get the BETA and play it when it came out. Well it is a work night so I need to wake up at 7am and it's 2:30am right now and I decided that instead of getting sleep so I could be all smart at work tomorrow and get promotions and bonuses I would stay up until 3:30 playing Battlefield 4 Open Beta and yelling at the screen due to all the massive bugs and glitches.
Put that all to the side and you get one hell of a game though, the graphics are amazing and the attention to detail in the levels is beyond epic. I really feel like I'm in a giant city like Seattle or New York when I'm playing on the large conquest maps. The network code is complete garbage right now and people glitch and freeze all over the place even when I have a low ping.
The menus are pretty awesome and the game didn't crash on me once so I must say for a BETA it's pretty stable but the net code complete kills it, it takes all the fun out of the game because your skill really doesn't make a damn bit of difference at this point (at least not for me).
